Outpatient Special Procedures
This is a medical procedure or therapy done in a hospital setting and may be either a one-time visit or ongoing for a specific period, depending on your medical needs. PMH has been providing outpatient special procedures for many years. With the changing dynamics of healthcare reimbursement, our outpatient services are expanding. This provides us with valuable experience while helping determine ways to improve patient care. “I’m very excited about this new department and caring for patients in a consistent setting with the same nurse nearly every visit.” Denise Guillen, RN Outpatient Procedures Coordinator. Services offered in our Outpatient Procedure Department include: Blood Product Transfusions, IV Medication Therapy, Wound Care and Dressing Changes, IV Hydration Therapy, Antibiotics, and Injection Services. Outpatient Procedures must be ordered by your physician who will work with our Outpatient Nurse Coordinator to schedule an appointment. This will allow us the opportunity to meet your needs on a personal level. Upon your visit, our patient-friendly treatment areas offer recliner seating or a bed for your privacy and comfort.
